Bridge of Hope Student Scores 496 Marks out of 500 in 10th Class

Sri Devi is a student of Bridge of Hope in Tamil Nadu since 2007. Her parents are daily wage laborer in a local power loom factory. On weekends, Sri Devi and her elder sister go to work in a nearby factory.

The situation at her home was not suitable for her studies. So she always depended on Bridge of Hope center where the staff were always ready to help her in her studies. She scored 496 out of 500 marks in the 10th Class public examination. She got 1st rank in the district and 4th rank in the state of Tamil Nadu.

She also got an award from the district collector. She is now enrolled for +1. Her aim is to become a medical doctor.

She says, “I like Bridge of Hope very much and my special thanks to all the staff who helped me. My parents are very happy. I am from a very poor family. Financially my family is not able to support me but through Bridge of Hope many of my needs like uniforms, books, bags etc were taken care of.”
