Free Medical Camps Held in Assam
Free medical camps were organized by some of our Bridge of Hope centers in Assam on 28th August 2014. These camps were organized for children and to assist those in rural communities who are not able to get proper medical services regularly.
Over 1300 people were examined in these camps held at 9 locations. A team of doctors from the National Rural Health Mission gave the required medical treatment.
Sickness was rampant in these villages because of heavy rains and flooding, so the villagers were grateful for the camp. They thanked Bridge of Hope for arranging such a camp for the benefit of the poor people.
During the camp, we also educated the community members about health awareness and hygiene topics to help prevent illness.
